When the strawberry cuttings have roots, dip them in the microbial mixture and wrap the plant in plastic wrap. Refrigerate the plastic-covered strawberry cuttings for four or five months to simulate winter weather conditions, then remove them from the refrigerator and place them in the hydroponic system with their roots hanging down in the nutrient solution. This solution should maintain a PH level between about 5.8 and 6.2, and the temperature of the room you are growing strawberries in should be somewhere between 680 F and 780 F during the day and not drop below 550 F at night.

Ideal home hydroponic setups for strawberries include an ebb and flow setup or an NFT system.

When your plant’s flower opens, brush it lightly to spread the pollen to the stamens and pistils of the flower. Then all you have to do is maintain your hydroponic system with nutrients that will continue to feed your plant and wait for your delicious berries to ripen!
