Here are 10 tips for the fall fitness transition:

1 Brisk Walking – Plan ahead for what the weather will be like and dress accordingly for a quick hike on a forest trail or even just a walk around the neighborhood.

2 Go for a bike ride – Many fall days are ideal for biking 20 or 30 miles, or maybe even longer if you’re an experienced cyclist.

3. Host a pick-up game – Whether it’s football, basketball or even a softball game, get a few people together for some friendly outdoor competition on some of the last good days of the year to do it in the cold weather states.

4 Yard work – Get some exercise while you quickly complete your seasonal fall chores like raking leaves, cleaning flower beds and preparing your house for winter. Your apartment will look a lot better, you’ll burn calories, and you’ll generally feel good about being productive.
